REAL CAPE KAYAK ADVENTURES have been run by REAL CAPE ADVENTURES cc since 1994, becoming registered as a Closed Corporation in 1995. The kayak company obtained a permit from the City of Cape Town to run commercial sea kayak tours off all Cape Beaches and a permit from the Road Transportation Board to run an adventure tour bus in a 1000km radius throughout the Western Cape. Over the last twenty-five years it has run kayak tours throughout the Cape Peninsula, including in places such as Three Anchor Bay, Hout Bay and Simonstown, eventually setting up permanent operations in Hout Bay, Simonstown and Plettenberg Bay, as well as further afield in places such as St Helena Bay and Mossel Bay, later expanding operations to Mozambique and Madagascar, amongst others.
